It's been 28 years since my parents joined millions of other Pinoys to lay their lives on the line to topple an overstaying dictator and thief. There was no CNN or internet back then. They could have died if the soldiers followed the orders to mow down their fellow Filipinos.
That's why it infuriates me when other people belittle the People Power Revolution that has inspired similar peaceful revolts all over the world.
